Reporting to: Supervisor, Distribution

General Summary:

Supports the Supply Chain Support Centre (SCSC) with manual and administrative duties related to the shipping, receiving, storing and distribution of materials, parts and equipment. Responsible for the management of in-geo RMA(Return Materials Authorization) inventory. Works across department to efficiently distribute EMC products.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Communicates with customers (inbound and outbound).
• Liaising with customers as well as partners, internal sales representatives, internal sales support and freight forwarders.
• Responsible for RMA(Return Materials Authorization) product management/inventory in. Maintain RMA(Return Materials Authorization) Balances as per corporate guidelines.
• Interface with Global Services organisation on product movements to enable efficient installations, implementations, resolutions of MWD, RMA(Return Materials Authorization) management.
• Escalates problems to Supervisor (for example product shipment escalations, MWD and customs problems).
• Supports the SCSC team by providing support to call centre specialist during busy times and acts as support to supervisor during times of leave and travel.
• Assists in ad hoc day to day SCSC tasks.
